I come from the place called Tibetan Plateau, which described as 'Snow of Land' by Tibetans and 'Roof of the World' by people around world. In 2006, I got an opportunity to learn the development studies at my university for one year and later did some several of small-scale projects to improve my community’s economic condition. However, I gradually realized that what a community need is not only providing the material well beings, but also need to protecting their non-material culture in front of these large-scale development projects being imposed on local people’s lives, I thus started my works on development issues in Tibetan communities since 2011. I hope my works can be positively changed future of Tibetan communities’ social and economic condition.
